In August, the “Adán Martín” Auditorium closes to the public, but behind the scenes preparations for the new season are in full swing. The halls are being set up, technicians are fine-tuning lights and sound, and staff are perfecting every detail: the necessary breath before a September packed with events.

The season resumes in early September with Klara, a small, intimate opera that inaugurates the “Ópera en minúscula” series and introduces audiences to lyric theater in a condensed form. Just days later, the same series will present El diario de Ana Frank, a highly emotional work that blends drama and music in a deeply engaging context.

On September 21, the stage will change register with Pastora Soler, who will celebrate thirty years of her career on the “Rosas y Espinas” tour. The Andalusian singer will revisit her greatest hits in an evening of passion and intensity, capable of moving both long-time fans and newcomers alike.

Toward the end of the month, the Auditorium will transform into a temple of electronic music with Zamna Tenerife, a flagship event on the international scene promising an explosion of contemporary sounds and immersive lights. Finally, on September 30, grand-format opera returns with Yerma by Federico García Lorca, directed by Ramón Gener, whose accessible, educational approach makes the work welcoming even to those less familiar with opera.

In just a few weeks, the Auditorium will offer an eclectic lineup: from minimal opera to pop voices, through theatrical emotion and electronic beats. The August break is therefore only apparent: it is the breath that prepares us for an autumn of art and spectacle that will surprise and leave its mark.
