The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, together with the Tenerife Film Choir, will perform the Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning music by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard on July 11 and 12, 2025. This exceptional performance will synchronize the iconic score with the projection of Ridley Scott's Oscar-winning film Gladiator. Tickets for these two extraordinary events, to be held at the Auditorio de Tenerife, are already available online and at the box office.
The Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ), directed by composer and conductor Diego Navarro, will celebrate its 19th edition starting June 7, 2025, with a grand open-air concert by the Pop Culture Band. This year, the festival will pay tribute to Italian culture and its legendary soundtracks, featuring works by masters such as Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, and Nicola Piovani. Additionally, the festival will offer a wide range of activities, including concerts, outdoor film screenings, masterclasses, and meetings with professionals from the audiovisual music industry.
FIMUCITÉ 2025 is supported by the Tenerife Island Council (Cabildo de Tenerife), the Government of the Canary Islands, and many other public and private institutions. It will also feature the renowned Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Tenerife Film Choir.
